  La Nina: লা নিনার অভিঘাতে ঠান্ডায় কাঁপতে পারে উত্তর ভারত, পূর্বাভাস আবহবিদদের একাংশের সংবাদ সংস্থা নয়াদিল্লি ২৫ অক্টোবর ২০২১ ১৫:৩৯ লা নিনার প্রভাবে ভারতে বাড়বে শীত। ছবি: সংগৃহীত। এই বিজ্ঞাপনের পরে আরও খবর দুর্বল হচ্ছে এল নিনো। তাই এ বার ঋতুচক্রের উপর প্রভাব বাড়ছে লা নিনার। যার জের পড়তে চলেছে উত্তর ভারতের শীতকালীন আবহাওয়ায়। আবহবিদদের একাংশ জানাচ্ছেন, ডিসেম্বর-ফেব্রুয়ারি মাসে সেখানকার বিস্তীর্ণ অংশের তাপমাত্রা স্বাভাবিকের চেয়ে প্রায় ৩ ডিগ্রি সেন্টিগ্রেড (৩৭ ডিগ্রি ফারেনহাইট) নীচে চলে যেতে পারে। আবহাওয়া  সংক্রান্ত তথ্য সংগ্রহ ও বিশ্লেষণকারী আন্তর্জাতিক সংস্থা ডিটিএন-এর ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্ট রেনি ভ্যান্ডেওয়েজ জানিয়েছেন, ‘‘আমাদের অনুমান লা নিনার প্রভাবে এ বারের শীতে উত্তর-পূর্ব এশিয়া জুড়ে ঠান্ডা অনেকটাই বেশি পড়বে।’’ দক্ষিণ আমেরিকায় প্রশান্ত মহাসাগরের পূর্ব উপকূলবর্তী এলাকায় মোটামুটি ভাবে ৩ থেকে ৭ বছর অন্তর  এল নিনোর  প্রভাব দেখা যায়। জলস্তরের (সি সারফেস) তাপমাত্রা কয়েক ডিগ্রি সেলসিয়াস বেড়ে যায়। ফলে, উপকূলবর্তী এলাকার বায়ুমণ্ডলও তেতে ওঠে। সমুদ্রের সেই অতিরিক্ত তাপ নির্গত হয় সমুদ্রপৃষ্ঠের
