ভারতকে নিশানা করে চিনা তৎপরতা জানাল পেন্টাগন, উদ্বেগ পরমাণু অস্ত্রবৃদ্ধি নিয়ে

লাদাখ থেকে অরুণাচল প্রদেশ। ৩,৪৮৮ কিলোমিটার দীর্ঘ প্রকৃত নিয়ন্ত্রণরেখা (এলএসি) বরাবর ফের বাড়ছে চিনা সেনার তৎপরতা। বদলাচ্ছে সেনা বিন্যাসের ধরনও। পেন্টাগনের বার্ষিক রিপোর্টে এমনই প্রসঙ্গের উল্লেখ রয়েছে।
ওই রিপোর্টে চিনের পরমাণু অস্ত্রের দ্রুত সংখ্যাবৃদ্ধি নিয়েও উদ্বেগ প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। বলা হয়েছে, ২০২৭ সালের মধ্যে ৭০০-র বেশি পরমাণু অস্ত্রের মালিক হবে চিন। ২০৩০-এ সেই সংখ্যা পৌঁছবে ১০০০-এ।
আমেরিকা প্রতিরক্ষা এবং গোয়েন্দা দফতরের তৈরি ওই রিপোর্ট জানাচ্ছে, ভারতকে চাপে ফেলার জন্য দীর্ঘমেয়াদি, সুনির্দিষ্ট লক্ষ্য নিয়ে এগোচ্ছে চিন। গত বছরের মে মাসে থেকেই সেই পরিকল্পনা রূপায়ণের কাজ শুরু হয়েছে। ঘটনাচক্রে, সে সময়ই পূর্ব লাদাখে চিনা ফৌজের প্রকৃত নিয়ন্ত্রণরেখা (এলএসি) লঙ্ঘনের খবর সামনে এসেছিল।
অরুণাচল প্রদেশের উত্তর সুবনসিরি জেলায় এলএসি লঙ্ঘন করে ভারতীয় এলাকায় ঢুকে চিনা ফৌজ সেখানে আস্ত একটি গ্রাম তৈরি করে ফেলেছে বলেও ওই রিপোর্টে জানানো হয়েছে। আমেরিকার প্রতিরক্ষা বিভাগের গত বছরের বার্ষিক রিপোর্টে ওই ঘটনার কথা জানিয়ে বলা হয়েছিল, তাসরি চু নদীর তীরে বানানো ওই গ্রামে প্রায় ১০১টি ঘর তৈরি করেছে চিনা সেনা।
বক্তব্যের সমর্থনে চিনা গ্রামের একটি উপগ্রহ চিত্রও প্রকাশ করা হয়। সেটি ২০২০ সালের ১ নভেম্বর তোলা হয়েছে বলে দাবি। সেই সঙ্গে ২০১৯ সালের ২৬ অগস্টে ঠিক একই এলাকার একটি উপগ্রহ ছবিও প্রকাশ করা হয়েছে। ২০১৯ সালের ছবিতে জঙ্গলাকীর্ণ নদীর তীরে জনবসতির কোনও চিহ্ন নেই।
গত এপ্রিলে আমেরিকার কংগ্রেসকে দেওয়া বাৎসরিক রিপোর্টে ‘অফিস অব দি ডিরেক্টর অব ন্যাশনাল ইন্টেলিজেন্স’ জানিয়েছিল, ভারতকে চাপে ফেলতে নিয়ন্ত্রণরেখার তৎপরতা বাড়াচ্ছে চিনের পিপলস লিবারেশন আর্মি (পিএলএ)।
